New season Victorian Shallots will be available in approximately 1 to 2 weeks. The variety is “Conservor” and is a wonderful, savoury Shallot that is easy to peel and superbly flavoured. They are elongated bulbs have coppery red skins with cream-colored flesh and lilac interior rings.
Southwest Pumpkin season is only a month away from starting and after a recent visit to the farm to take a look around, I can report that the pumpkins coming off will be superb. We are expecting that it will be a large volume season this year and prices will be great for the consumer.
